You must follow the guidelines on the particular product you have chosen. Better brands should make this clear on the packaging.

I generally advise you take half the recommended dose to start with, and work up to the recommended dose.

The Foods Standard Agency recommends no more than 70mg a day unless your doctor has advised otherwise.

BRITISH CANNABIS™
answer your question

How much CBD should I use?

CBD is a well-known and widely used drug that has numerous health benefits. But, you might be wondering “What dosage should I use?”

This article will discuss CBD oil. We will discuss how weight, age, condition, and potency affect dosage. We’ll discuss how to determine the best dose for you and what to do in case of side effects.

How can I determine the best CBD dosage?

BRITISH CANNABIS, a leading independent producer of CBD in the country, believes that finding the right spot is crucial.

It is common for people with similar weights to respond to CBD at different levels. A person might respond to 30 mg/kg CBD while another may prefer 10 mg. There are many sizes. Tom Whettem, British Cannabis CEO, stated that there is no one size fits all.

British Cannabis is regulated and listed on the UK Food Standards Agency’s public list. The best way to determine what dose you need is to start with a low dose (for example, 5-10 mg) and then increase it by 5 mg until you reach your desired dosage.

It is crucial to find the right dosage of CBD oil. You can find a reliable online CBD calculator at CBD Guru. More information, including CBD charts, is available at The Extract.

CBD dosage for anxiety

You should first try CBD oil at a low dosage to determine if it is effective in anxiety management. If you don’t notice any improvement, increase the dosage to moderate.

CBD oil should be taken in the morning and again at lunchtime. A lot of people will only take a small amount for 30-60 minutes before they start to engage in anxiety-provoking or stressful activities.

CBD dosage for pain

The pain level can affect the dosage of CBD oil. CBD oil dosages of mild-to-moderate pain are typically sufficient for mild conditions such as low grade arthritis and tolerable PMS symptoms.

A heavy dose of CBD oil will likely be required for severe pain, nerve pain, treatment-resistant multiple sclerosis, and cancer pain.

While pain relief from inflammatory pain, cancer pain or endometriosis may take some time, pain relief for arthritis, digestive pain and muscle pain can be achieved within hours after taking CBD oil.

CBD dosage for sleep

While CBD oil has been shown in studies to improve sleep quality and length, the effectiveness of CBD oil for sleeping disorders is higher than that for other conditions. If you wish to improve your sleep, you should aim for a high dosage of CBD oil.

CBD oils of some types may have a greater impact on sleep. CBD oils that contain terpenes like linalool or bisabolol, myrcene, and lavandin have the strongest sedative effects. You can also find CBD oils that contain melatonin, which will make them even more powerful.

CBD dosage for depression

It takes a lot of trial and error to find the right CBD oil dosage for you. It may take time to see results with CBD oil supplementation or lifestyle changes.

You should begin with a low or moderate dosage of CBD oil for at least a few weeks, before moving to a higher dose when you have learned how CBD affects different parts of your body.

What are the Side Effects of CBD Oil?

CBD can be used to treat any condition. However, it is important to ensure that you are getting the right dosage.

These are the five main side effects you might experience when using CBD.

  1. Blood pressure
  2. Dry mouth
  3. diarrhoea,
  4. Loss of appetite
  5. exhaustion.

CBD has very few side effects. Side effects of CBD are most commonly caused by high CBD doses, CBD combining with other medications or CBD being used alongside other medical conditions.

Talk to your doctor before you try CBD. Stick to your doctor’s recommendation, even if they tell you how to use CBD.

They might assess your body size and weight, severity of your condition, tolerance to CBD, your body chemistry, and the potency of any CBD oil, capsules, or gummies you are using.

This is particularly important if you are taking CBD-containing traditional drugs, such as Epidiolex. Also, ensure that the product’s label contains clearly labeled information.
